About Mama

Welcome.  My name is Nichole.  I am a 34 year old Mama, living in Central Kentucky, with my two boys and husband.  We have 4 acres and a little farmhouse.  Our land is surrounded by farmland, near a lake.  It feels like the last of the old frontier.  I know a new era has come though, and these are interesting times, indeed. 

We also have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 guinea, 1 rooster and 1 hen.  Recently, anonymous varmits stole 8 of our hens.  I did see racoon tracks nearby.  We are waiting till Spring 2012, to repopulate our hens.  We educate at home and everywhere we go, utilizing all of our experiences as a chance to learn.  Life IS School.  Right?! 

I used to blog over at http://www.wisdomkeeper.wordpress.com/ for a while, but needed a break from the grid.  For some months now I have wanted to begin writing again and sharing our journey, but I just couldn't find the Will and the Space that felt right.  I really feel the desire to express and share with other families and friends.  I hope you will enjoy how Creator comes through us and presents One Self.  Let me know if you have any thoughts or topics you might want to see presented.  I am very open.  You can also check out my status over at Nurturing Spirit Facebook page.
